To suspend your membership, simply pop into the club and fill out a leave/suspension form, providing relevant documentation eg: medical note or travel itinerary.

A: If you are 14 years old you are able to attend the Gym as long as you are here at all times with another member that is 18 years or older. At 16 years old you are welcome to attend the gym independently.
Group Fitness
Q: Is Group Fitness an extra cost?
A: Our current membership prices include access to all of our Group Fitness Classes, including Body Combat, RPM, Body Step, Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Balance, Body Jam, Body Vive, Yoga, Zumba, Aqua and Aqua Gymsticks.
Swimming Pool & Swimming Lessons
Q: Can I get a pool only membership?
A: Unfortunately we do not offer and exclusive pool only membership. All of our memberships are all inclusive and our pool itself is a members only privilege.
Q: Can I bring my children in the pool with me?
A: Unfortunately children under the age of 16 are unable to use our pool facilities as there is NOT an active lifeguard on duty and it is a member’s only swimming pool. Children are able to use the swimming pool only when they are participating in a paid swimming lesson with one of our AUSTswim accredited instructors.
Q: Are swimming lessons available?
A: Yes we do run Adults and Children’s swimming lessons all year round. Children’s classes are run Monday through to Saturday and cost $12 each if a parent is a member of Definition Health Club and $14 each if you are a non member. They are usually run alongside the school term. Adults swimming lessons are one on one and cost $25each for a 30 minute session. We also offer baby (PODS’) classes for children aged 18 months – 36 months. Any enquires / bookings can be made at reception and our Swim School Coordinator will get back to you swiftly.
Q: Are any children’s fitness programs available?
A: We offer a squad training program Monday through to Friday in the afternoons from 4.00pm-5.30pm (Fridays run a half hour earlier). Our Club Trainer takes the kids upstairs to our Group Fitness room for half an hour of fitness training. They will find themselves doing activities such as skipping, push ups, sprint starts, exercise circuits amongst other cardio training and then finishing with some fun and games; our famous Definition dodge ball tournaments are a hit with the kids! When the gym aspect is complete they then make their way down the pool area, where a qualified Austswim Instructor will put them through their paces doing different strokes in the pool for an hour. Your child’s swim stroke techniques will be perfected and you will see their stamina and strength improve! The squad training program cost $12 each if a parent is a member of Definition Health Club and $14 each if you are a non member.
